You are registering for the 2022 Saguaro Amateur January 2-5, 2022, at Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Club.  The entry fee is $495 and it covers all four rounds of the tournament, practice fees, 20% food/beverage/pro shop discount, and a player gift.  The Saguaro Amateur will be included in the various world amateur golf rankings, including WAGR and Scratch Players.  $125 of the entry fee is non-refundable at all times once entered.  The remainder of the entry fee is non-refundable for any reason after December 21

Non-Exempt Player Qualifier:  18 hole qualifiers will be included in the first rounds of the Gobbler Amateur, Desert Amateur, and Agave Amateurs for players who are in those events and not otherwise exempt.  The cost is $65. EXEMPT and ENTRY CRITERIA:  A player is exempt if he fits into ONE of the following categories AND submits his completed entry by NOVEMBER 1, 2021.  All players must have completed high school by January 1, 2022, and have a handicap of 3.0 or lower.  

 

EXEMPT CRITERIA (Exempt Deadline is NOVEMBER 1, 2021)
-Top 250 Players from the Final 2020-21 Golfweek or Golfstat Collegiate Rankings
-Top 1000 Players in the Scratch Players Amateur Rankings or WAGR

-Top 3 players (not already exempt) in the TSAS points list at the conclusion of the 2021 Agave Amateur

-All former champions of Troon Saguaro Amateur Series events

-All members-in-good-standing of men's college golf teams in the Pac-12 and Mountain West Conferences in 2021-22

-All 2021 champions of major men's state amateur and mid-amateur championships

-All members-in-good-standing of men's college golf teams (all levels) in Colorado and Wyoming in 2021-22

-All participants in the men's 2021 US Mid-Amateur and US Amateur Championships

-Low 3 players from the 2021 Southwestern Amateur

-Low 30 players and ties from the 2021 Saguaro Amateur

-Exempt players from the 18 hole qualifiers of the Palo Verde, Sizzler, Gobbler, Desert, and Agave Amateurs

-Designated sponsor exemptions (see information sheet at www.SaguaroAmateur.com or contact info@saguaroamateur.com)

 

NON-EXEMPT PLAYERS:  Complete the registration process as soon as possible.  Your payment IS NOT PROCESSED until you are confirmed into the field and is not subject to the non-refundable fee until you are confirmed into the field.  

 

WAITLIST and NON-EXEMPT PLAYERS ENTRANCE INTO THE FIELD:  All non-exempt players who have registered will be alternated by the following method to be added to the field-1) The highest ranked WAGR player currently on the pending waitlist THEN 2) Then the player who completed their registration the earliest.  The same method will apply to the waitlist after the November 1 deadline.
